In response to continuing supply chain disruptions, the U.S. apparel company has made the decision to move roughly half of its women’s production away from China.

Speaking with investors at a Q2 2021 earnings call, CEO Edward Rosenfeld said that the move to Mexico and Brazil would be an improvement, but both locations continue to present challenges in the form of Covid restrictions and international transportation.

Steve Madden recently announced its Q2 2021 financial results, showing a revenue increase of 178.6% year-on-year to US$397.9 million.
