Trumpler supports Südleder apprenticeship scheme

Südleder one of the world’s leading contract tanneries, recently visited Trumpler, the German leather chemical company, as part of their internal apprenticeship and training programmes. The apprenticeship programmes are open for employees training to be tanners, as industrial clerks and laboratory assistants. 

All three apprenticeships last up to three years. Overall it ensures a competent leather future for both the trainees, Südleder, and the German leather industry. The 2015 annual apprenticeship tour to selected Südleder suppliers and customers, and was composed of eleven apprentices and four mentors. The tour included a visit to the Trumpler fatliquor production plant, powder packaging facilities and laboratories in Worms, Germany. The tour also incorporated a visit to Naturin Viscofan in Weinheim, one of the largest sausage casing producers in the world.
