ISA TanTec is seeking a Technical Director for U.S. facility

Technical Director for Mississippi TanTec

You will be a part of a strong international team heading the technical department in our US facility Mississippi TanTec Leather, Ltd (MTL) reporting directly to the VP of Operations.

Main responsibilities:

• To manage and develop the technical department in MTL
• To manage an international team of technicians
• In close cooperation with sales department and other departments ensure that customer’s expectations and company targets are met
• Responsible for new developments from all technical aspects
• To manage transfer of new developments into production and ensure all parameters are met
• Involvement in production lay-out planning
• Actively involvement in procurement of new equipment from a technical point of view
• Close contact to customers understanding their needs and expectations
• Close cooperation and communication with technical departments in our other facilities

Desired qualifications

• Graduated in Leather Technology
• At least 5 years experience in a managerial position
• Proficiently spoken and written English
• Analytical skills to approach issues with imagination and creativity and to solve issues on a practical way
• Must have personality to drive changes in a dynamic environment and drive out complexity from
  existing operation.
