Modified wattle extract from Tanac

Reaffirming its continued support for the development of the leather industry, Brazil based vegetable extract producers, Tanac will be once again attending the ACLE where they will introduce their new range of leather chemicals.

The fair will take place from September 4 - 6, 2013 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Pudong.

Tanac are the largest individual grower of  Black Acacia (Black Wattle as it is also known) and operates in more than 70 countries worldwide, offering its high quality Vegetable Extracts, originated from its own renewable forestal reserve of more than 36,000 ha.

Tanac’s Vegetable Extracts are certified by ISO9001, ISO14001 and its forests are certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).

This year we are bringing to you the Weibull Roy Special which is the newest modified Wattle Extract from Tanac.

The product imparts to the leather a greenish colour when used in the tannage, nonetheless improving the light resistance, when compared to current Wattle Extracts.

Weibull Roy Special is recommended for Sole leathers when a good yield and light colours are required also for chrome retanning stage, for high quality leathers.

In the retanning of chrome leathers, it improves the grain tightness and softness. Due to its excellent penetration, the grain leather keeps its natural elasticity and the dyeing is level.

Tanac will also be highlighting their new generation of Weibull LAB and Syntac CA, new options for processing vegetable leathers!
