Indonesia’s footwear sector calls for free trade deals

Around 60% of Indonesia’s footwear exports are shipped to the European and U.S. markets. While Vietnam benefits from favourable trade agreements with both regions, Indonesia’s products are approximately 11% more expensive than its regional competitors.
