The global supplier of wet end and finishing leather solutions has created a new logo that seeks to fit the Company’s corporate identity and its mission to focus on sustainability.
Smit & Zoon, a seventh generation family-owned chemical business, has unveiled a new logo, which refers to the coveted drop that has been present in the Company’s logo over the past decades. “‘A drop makes a difference’ is our unique way of saying that Smit & Zoon is making a difference and that we, as an industry, are being challenged by creating a sustainable future for the leather industry”, said Danielle Koenen, Global Director Marketing and Communication, Smit & Zoon. The company has also rebranded the logo of Codyeco, based in Italy, which is part of the Smit Group.
Headquartered in Weesp, the Netherlands, Smit & Zoon supplies wet end and finishing leather solutions, aimed at the leather footwear, bags, automotive and upholstery sectors. “Smit & Zoon strongly continues on the mission and commitment to focus on sustainability, and continues to play a catalysing role in making the leather value chain sustainable”, said a company statement.
