2020 calfskin volumes down across main European producing countries

According to industry analysts at theSauerReport, 2020 witnessed a moderate decline in the number of calves slaughtered across all the major European producers. While data for the whole year is currently available only for France and Belgium, it is highly unlikely that the eleven-month figures for the other countries will alter greatly for the month of December and should be regarded as a good approximation of the annual results.
